In 2012 I graduated from NDSCS with a Degree in Occupation Therapy Assisting. My Background in Occupational Therapy has helped me immensely while I have been the Education Program. My degree has helped me to think more adaptively and to incorporate different subjects and lessons together. It has also opened me up to more diverse learning experience through fieldworks at Pediatric Clinics, Mental Health Hospitals, and Rehabilitation Units in Hospitals. The knowledge and experiences I have gained through my degree has helped me to be the education student I am today and a future educator.

Throughout the years 2012-2014, I was a camp counselor at North Dakota Farmers Union Camp. It was at this camp that I grew to know the importance of teamwork and cooperation. My fellow counselors and I created all of the activities and schedules for the whole summer. This experience has definitely shaped me to be the leader I am today.
